The Oct. 22, 2026, event at Cincinnati Music Hall celebrated the Cincinnati BBB’s 100th year and honored the 2026 recipients of the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics and the Spark Awards.
The Cincinnati BBB was formed in 1926, when local business leaders came together to bring more trust and transparency to the region’s marketplace. A century later, the organization serves consumers and businesses across Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana.
The gala paired the centennial celebration with the BBB’s annual business ethics awards. The BBB said it would introduce honorees for both awards in August and announce winners at the Music Hall event.

According to the Cincinnati BBB, sponsor support helps make it possible to honor this year’s award winners and to continue the organization’s work toward a more ethical marketplace. Cincinnati BBB President and CEO Jocile Ehrlich discussed the bureau’s history and its centennial plans in a conversation with the Cincinnati Business Courier.
The BBB’s consumer resources include business profiles, complaint filing, customer reviews, and Scam Tracker, a tool that lets the public report and look up scams.
