Cape Girardeau, Missouri – Readers of the Southeast Missourian have voted Cook, Barkett, Ponder & Wolz as the top Law Firm (Personal Injury) in the newspaper’s 20th annual People’s Choice Awards. The results were published Sept. 26.
Voting was open to the public. More than 24,000 votes were cast in nearly 100 categories, which the paper sorts into six groups. Lawyers are in the Healthy Living group, alongside medical professionals and health and senior care providers.
Cook, Barkett, Ponder & Wolz is a personal injury firm with its main office on North Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau and branch offices in Bloomfield, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff. Its attorneys handle car, truck, motorcycle and pedestrian accident cases, along with wrongful death, product liability, and brain and spinal cord injury claims. Most clients come from Cape Girardeau, Scott, Stoddard, New Madrid and Pemiscot counties.
